DisplayTuneHow to install DisplayTune
Installation takes a couple of minutes. Here is the whole path from download to your first profile, including the free trial key and what to do if Windows shows a warning.
Step 1. Download
Only download from the official site: displaytune.ru/download. The file is DisplayTune-Setup.exe, about 90 MB. Windows 10 and 11, 64-bit.
Step 2. Install
- Run the downloaded file.
- If you see the blue "Windows protected your PC" window — click "More info" → "Run anyway". That is how SmartScreen reacts to new apps without a paid publisher certificate.
- Choose a folder or keep the default and tick the desktop shortcut.
- The app starts automatically when installation finishes.
Step 3. Get a key

One trial key per Discord account. After payment the key is shown right on the page and also sent by email — check your spam folder if it is not there.
Step 4. Activate
Paste the key (format DT-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX) into the activation window. It gets tied to this PC. The app needs internet at startup and from time to time to check the key; without a connection it keeps working for up to two days.
Step 5. First setup
- Open "Profiles" and pick a preset for your game — for example "Rust — Summer" or "CS2 — Esports".
- In Settings, enable start with Windows so your colors apply right away.
- Assign hotkeys — see what DisplayTune can do.

Why does Windows show a warning during installation?
SmartScreen warns about apps without a paid publisher certificate. The installer from the official site is safe: click "More info" → "Run anyway".
Can I move my key to another PC?
The key is bound to the PC on first activation. If you changed computers, contact support in Telegram: @CODER_PROJECT.
What happens when the key expires?
The app restores your original screen colors and asks for a new key. Your profiles and settings are kept.
