Digital vibrance ("vibrance" for short) is a graphics driver setting that makes colors richer. Almost every esports player raises it: colored objects separate from grey backgrounds and enemies are visible sooner.
What exactly changes
Every pixel can be split into brightness and "colorfulness". Digital vibrance boosts colorfulness: red gets redder, green greener, while grey and near-grey areas barely change. That is why bright elements start to jump off the background.
Vibrance vs saturation
Almost the same thing. Classic saturation boosts all colors equally. Driver vibrance is gentler and affects dull colors more — so faces and the sky do not turn neon as quickly. In practice both sliders solve the same problem.
Why gamers raise it
- Player models and their clothing separate from grass, rocks and walls.
- Colored UI elements and effects are read faster.
- Dull monitors (especially TN and cheap VA) look livelier.
Which value to choose

Frequently asked questions
Does digital vibrance affect FPS?
No. The GPU applies it when it outputs the image; there is no extra load on the game.
Why does digital vibrance keep resetting?
The NVIDIA panel stores a single setting, and driver updates or other apps can reset it. DisplayTune profiles are reapplied every time they switch on.
Is high saturation bad for your eyes?
Not by itself, but a very vivid picture is more tiring. For long work sessions go back to 100–110%.
