Saturation on Intel graphics

On most laptops the screen is connected to the integrated Intel GPU — even when there is an NVIDIA card inside. So saturation often has to be set in Intel software.

Intel Graphics Command Center

1. Install Intel Graphics Command Center from the Microsoft Store if you do not have it.
2. Open Display → the Color tab.
3. Move the Saturation slider; brightness, contrast, gamma and hue are next to it.

For Intel Arc cards and newer Intel CPUs there is Intel Graphics Software — display color settings are in a similar section.

Laptop with NVIDIA inside

If the NVIDIA panel has no "Adjust desktop color settings", the built-in screen is driven by Intel. The game renders on NVIDIA, but the image goes out through Intel — so color is set on the Intel side. An external monitor plugged into a port on the dedicated GPU can be the other way round.

What values to pick

Laptop panels often have a narrow color gamut and look dull. A moderate boost (+15–30% saturation) and slightly higher contrast make a visible difference without neon colors. Change backlight brightness with the laptop keys rather than in software.

If the slider is missing or does nothing

• Update the driver from Intel or your laptop maker.
• Turn off display power-saving features in Intel settings — they change contrast on the fly.
• Use DisplayTune: on Intel, saturation works through the Windows color filter, and brightness and gamma through the gamma ramp.
