Color and brightness in Rainbow Six Siege
In Siege you constantly look from light into dark: from outside into a room, from a room into a dark corner. The job of color is to open the corners without burning out the windows.
In-game brightness
Start with the brightness calibration in the game's display settings. For competitive play many set it slightly above the recommended value so room corners do not sink into black.
Gamma and saturation
| Setting | Value | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Gamma | 1.15–1.25 | Dark corners and doorways |
| Saturation | 140–150% | Operators separate from walls |
| Brightness | 102–106 | A bit brighter without blown-out windows |
The ready-made "Rainbow Six Siege" preset: gamma 1.2, brightness 104, saturation 145%.
Windows and glare
If looking outside from a dark room hurts, gamma is too high. Go back to 1.1–1.15: windows stop glowing and corners stay readable.
Ready-made presets for CS2, Valorant, Overwatch 2, Call of Duty, Dota 2, League of Legends and 20 more games: the profile turns on when the game starts and turns off when you leave. Saturation up to 350%, NVIDIA, AMD and Intel. First day free.
