DisplayTuneVibrance and brightness in Apex Legends
Apex is full of smoke, ability effects and busy maps. Well-tuned color helps you find enemies in all that noise faster.
In-game settings
- Brightness in video settings — set it so you can see detail in building shadows without a blown-out sky.
- Color blind mode in Accessibility changes UI and highlight colors. Some players use it for more visible markers even without color vision issues.
- Field of view — wider view but smaller enemies; 100–110 is a common choice.
Vibrance

Keep gamma at 1.0–1.1: Apex maps are bright, and high gamma makes smoke look even thicker.
A separate profile
Apex Legends is in the DisplayTune auto-profile list: the preset turns on when r5apex.exe starts and turns off when you leave. Alt-tab out in the lobby and your normal desktop colors come back.
