How to see enemies better in Valorant
Visibility in Valorant comes from three things: graphics effects, enemy highlight color and overall screen color. Here is how to tune all three.
Graphics settings
| Setting | Recommendation | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Improve Clarity | On | Sharper outlines and detail |
| Bloom | Off | Less glow from flashes and lights |
| Distortion | Off | No wobble from abilities |
| Cast Shadows | Off | Fewer dark areas, higher FPS |
| Vignette | Off | Screen edges stay bright |
| Material and texture quality | Low–medium | Less visual noise |
| Anti-aliasing | MSAA 2x–4x | Clean edges without blur |
Enemy highlight color
General → Accessibility. The default red is easy to see but gets lost on maps with red and orange details. Yellow (Deuteranopia) is the most popular choice. Purple is rarer but stands out more on some maps. Test on different backgrounds in the Range.
Vibrance and gamma
Saturation at 130–150% makes silhouettes and abilities stand out. Keep gamma around 1.0: Valorant maps are bright and high gamma softens outlines. The ready-made preset is "Valorant" (140%) — see digital vibrance in Valorant.
FPS matters for visibility too
Higher and more stable FPS means smoother motion, so you spot enemies peeking a corner earlier. Your monitor must run at its maximum refresh rate — see monitor settings; the steps apply to Valorant as well.
Ready-made presets for CS2, Valorant, Apex, Fortnite, PUBG, Call of Duty, Overwatch 2 and more: the profile turns on when the game starts and turns off when you leave. Saturation up to 350%, NVIDIA, AMD and Intel. First day free.

Frequently asked questions
What does Improve Clarity do in Valorant?
It increases sharpness and edge definition. Most players turn it on for visibility.
Should I turn off bloom and distortion?
Yes. They add glow and wobble from abilities that make enemies harder to see.
Does vibrance help in Valorant?
Yes, a moderate amount (130–150%) makes silhouettes stand out. Too much makes abilities harder to read.
